Each tier is a base fee plus a per-user fee, and a QuickBooks Online subscription is required on top, so it is not standalone. Time tracking is already included in the Workforce Premium and Workforce Elite payroll tiers, so do not buy it twice. Intuit was running a 90% off the base fee promo for new signups, and both per-user fees went up $2 on July 1, 2026.
